We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Dansville, NY, dedicated to empowering low-income students and families by refurbishing and repurposing gently used electronic devices like laptops, tablets, and smartphones. Our mission is to ensure that no one is left behind in the digital age—whether it’s a child trying to complete homework, a parent applying for jobs online, or a senior learning to connect with loved ones through technology.
At Bright‑Byte Foundation Inc., we believe everyone deserves the chance to thrive in today’s digital world.
Founded in January 2025, we hit the ground running, launching local efforts to get computers and digital skills into the hands of those who need them most. Just a month ago, we proudly received our official nonprofit status — opening the door to even greater impact.
Already, we’ve placed our first 4 computers with low-income families and launched free online courses to help community members build essential tech skills.
But this is only the beginning. With your support, we aim to empower at least 50 families this year — providing refurbished computers, personalized training, and the confidence to connect, learn, and grow.
